February 5th, 2002 – Age 16
It’s the end of the day, and I guess I am starting a new journal. Hurray for me, hu?
Well, I wish I could say things are great. But my fire for life is gone. There is something holding me back. I know that bad times aren’t bad. It takes cold weather to appreciate warm weather.
This is how things are. Saturday night I asked out A—, and she said yes. Great, right?
Well, things seem to always have a catch with me. It was not like she just said yes, she hesitated, then said yes.
In all honesty, I think I surprised her. It shows what a good judge of these things I am. I thought she wanted to go out with me, and maybe she did. I just don’t know.
Now I feel awkward around her. I am glad that bad times mean better times will come.
I just hope I can get things to work out. I really like, A— and I don’t want to fuck things up.
