November 1st 1997 – Age 12

Luke’s Log: Today when I woke up I finished reading one of the last The Great Brain books. I tried one of the Great Brain Swindles and I lost a dollar. But now I believe he (my brother Aaron) knew the trick and swindled me. I finally have my lab in order (and if my mom had known at the time what dangerous chemicals and flames I experimented with at the time [most experiments simply involved seeing if things would blow up] I’m sure I would have been banned from the attic).
