February, 2 2002- Age 16

Do I not practice what I preach? I still let other people decide my emotions too much.

But you know what I think I want, something to be both light and dark.

I want to live off in this world on my own, where other humans don’t matter.

But at the same time it’s like I want to develop an emotional bond with people. I can’t have both.

Today at speech I got 1^st in entertain and 7^th in radio. Booyah!

I felt awesome at speech. I was the real person I am.

Then I came back and asked A— out. She said yes, but she thought a while.

I guess that is probably bad, and a result of her deciding under pressure. But whatever, it will be interesting how this one turns out.
