Aug. 30th, 2001 – Age 16

I suppose I could do anything I want when I grow up. There is no occupation I am not capable of. People that know me will expect me to choose a worthwhile career. 

But why? 

So I can make money? So I can buy things? Things I don’t need or want. 

If I buy  TV, I ma going to waste my time on it. 

Then I’m going to work to buy a couch so I can sit comfortably while I waste time.

I will then want a VCR. 

Then I might want more channels. 

Then I might want a TV in my bedroom. 

Life, whatever. 

I don’t have to be what society says I am supposed to be.
