From the Past:
February 11, 1998 – Age 13 Guatemala Mission Trip
I just woke up and am ready to start another day. Last night I played pool. Anna and Corra smoke. It is hard to see people throwing their lives away. But there is nothing I can do about it. THe work is not too hard, especially when you think of how happy you are making the people that live there. My house compared to theirs is like what they dream of inside their dreams. Bugs are coming along. I have a big butterfly and a Jerusalem cricket and a few others.
What I really want is a cockroach or a mantis. But this is only the start of my second day and there will be plenty of more opportunities.
