December, 23 1998 – Age 13

 

Dear Journal, 

 

It has been a while. Well it is Christmas vacation and I am in bed at 10. My life sucks, but it could be worse. I think by homeschooling I am destroying my life. I bet David is smarter than me!!! This Christmas I hope I’ll start being a gift. My family seems so messed up. I need to be better. I need to be better. I need to be better. I am a piece of shit.
